GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS — CONGPORT
1. Service
Congport is a multi-tenant SaaS for congress and symposium operations (registration, abstracts, review, payments, programme, certificates and related tools). Features available to the Buyer are those in the accepted proposal and the Buyer’s package limits.
2. Account and access
After payment, Congport opens a workspace (typically a subdomain of congport.com). The Buyer’s admin is responsible for users invited to that workspace. The Buyer must not share credentials or attempt to breach security.
3. Acceptable use
The Buyer shall not use Congport to send unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, process data without a legal basis, or overload the platform. Congress websites and participant data remain under the Buyer’s editorial and legal control.
4. Customer content
The Buyer retains rights in its congress content. The Buyer grants Congport a limited licence to host, back up and display that content solely to provide the service. Congport does not claim ownership of abstracts, programmes or media uploaded by the Buyer.
5. Payments and renewals
Proposal totals are due as stated. Unless a renewal is agreed in writing, the licence lasts for the duration on the proposal. Non-payment may result in suspension. Tenant-level PayTR settings (participant registration fees) are the Buyer’s own merchant relationship and are not Congport’s sale of those fees.
6. Availability
Congport aims for reasonable uptime but does not warrant uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may occur. Backups are performed as part of normal operations; the Buyer should keep its own copies of critical files.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Congport is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or data loss caused by the Buyer’s configuration or users. Congport’s aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees paid by the Buyer for the proposal period in which the claim arose, except in cases of wilful misconduct or where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where applicable).
8. Intellectual property
The Congport software, trademarks and documentation remain Congport’s property. The Buyer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the paid term.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable period after notice. Upon expiry or termination, access may be disabled. The Buyer should export data before the term ends. Congport may retain records required by law.
10. Changes
Congport may update these terms for future proposals. The version accepted with a paid proposal continues to apply to that purchase unless a change is required by law.
11. Governing law
Laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Courts and enforcement offices at the Seller’s registered address, subject to mandatory consumer venue rules.
